Visiting during Covid

Visiting during Covid

Dedicated pods to visit your loved ones

Please visit your loved one during the Covid Pandemic in the Covid-Secure Visiting Pod we built in our dining room.

It is equipped with a microphone, so hearing your loved one will not be a problem. In good weather we welcome you to visit in our lovely garden in the sunshine and fresh air, so long as you wear a facemask and maintain a 2 metre distance.

Special arrangements are in place for visiting residents that are near end of life. We have ground-floor rooms with an outside door and relatives can visit by entering from the outside in full PPE. We will make sure that staff will not be in contact with the visitors to minimise any risk. We have two rooms specifically allocated for this purpose. For us it is very important that family can be close to their loved one during end of life.

You are also welcome to do video calls and phone calls. We have specified staff who handle the calls and can assist our dear residents.

Do not worry about your loved one’s the mental health as we are doing our utmost for them. We have an activities person on duty 7 days a week, plus we also have Tintu who specialises in giving one to one attention to those residents who are unable to leave their room.
